This instructor-led course is based on the 2020 (most recent) International Consensus Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC), our CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) certification course is ideal for those needing CPR certification for employment requirements as well as those wanting to learn the skills necessary to save a life. This CPR course also includes "chokesaver" training. There is no separate certificate issued from Cape Cod CPR for completing the choking portion of the course, but rather your certification card issued at the end is sufficient to meet current regulations. It is no longer common practice in Massachusetts for training centers to hold strictly choking relief courses. A CPR certification card is the new standard.
Coverage of the 2020 CPR and ECC Guidelines: Clear, concise direction on how to perform CPR and use an AED during an emergency.
Covered in this course: Adults, Children and Infants
Skill Drills: Offer step-by-step explanations and visual summaries of important skills.
If you are a healthcare worker such as a CNA, LPN, RN, CMA, HHA, PCA, NP, PA, MD, or EMT - Please register for the "BLS Provider" CPR course as this course is intended for students with limited or no medical knowledge.
"The class was EXCELLENT. I have been attending CPR / First Aid Classes for many – many years and I would put your instructors, facility and class participation and preparation as one of the top I have attended. As a former First Responder and Back Country NPS Park Ranger with BLS and AED Training, I felt updated and informed by the end of the class session. Well done!"

"Very enjoyable CPR class! I feel both confident and comfortable with the skills I learned. The instructor (Chris) was excellent--personable, well spoken, and very knowledgeable. He was engaging, easy to understand, and created a fun learning environment. Well done! I will definitely recommend this class to others! See you again in two years!"
